The article deals with the daily lives of workers addicted to alcohol. The author comes to the conclusion that alcoholism among workers became an integral part of spending free time. Workers became the most alcohol addicted group of the urban population, which undoubtedly incurred enormous losses in the production process due to drunken truancy, defective goods, on-the-job injury rate.
